Wall of sound perpetrators Young Adults will be playing the Flavorpill-irockiroll-Bell House Northside show at Cameo on June 18. The band was born in 2009 as a duo comprising guitarists Chris and Demitri, until Kurt, Chris’ brother, was enlisted as percussionist. Within a year the band has wrote, recorded, and released an eponymous demo, opened for bands such as Wavves, Best Coast, and Weekend; and crafted their debut 12" LP titled Black Hole. Recommended if you like: Parts & Labor, Sonic Youth. On that Northside bill there will be also other interesting NYC artists: Neighbors, Sean Bones, Wojcik and Zuzuka Poderosa.
