Union Transfer Making Things Official!

Put all the rumors to rest. It finally happened. Union Transfer, the new music venue (formerly the old Spaghetti Warehouse) brought to us by R5’s Sean Agnew, Bowery Presents’ Jim Glancy, and Four Corners Management’s Avram Hornik, are ready to talk about their 600-person venue with AIR CONDITIONING that can be made into a 1000-person venue with its moveable stage, according to today’s article by Philadelphia Inquirer’s Dan Deluca, who interviewed the three partners last week at Noche. Their official opening night is set to be Wednesday, September 21, with a show featuring Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. We pulled some info that you might have been wondering about below (you’ll be happy to know that Sean Agnew will continue to book shows outside the new establishment), and you can read the rest of Deluca’s piece HERE. You can also check out their official website HERE. Congrats to the Union Transfer partners and Philly! – The Deli Staff

"It’s a quote-unquote real venue," says Agnew. It will cater to under- and over-21s, and include 200 on-site parking spaces and room for 150 bikes. And the d&b audiotechnik sound system "is an incredible high-end, fancy-pants system."
