Hosted by Danger! Danger! Gallery founding fathers and electro-rockers Grandchildren, tonight’s event at the West Philly DIY staple will be a barrage of futuristic sounds and mind-altering grooves that you don’t want to miss! Local outfits CSLSX and Ryat will be the slices of bread for this tasty experimental pop sandwich when they are served up with Tennessee’s Blastoid and Cali’s Religious Girls. I had a chance to catch CSLSX again the last time they hit the stage at Johnny Brenda’s, and their live performance has really stepped it up to the next level in comparison to when I first experienced them at the OX opening for Sun Airway. Look out for these guys and gal – I’m predicting bright things in their future. Ryat will be headlining the festivities, and you should definitely take advantage of experiencing them live before LA and the Flying Lotus crew claim them as one of their own. Expect a Daytrotter Session from the electro avant-pop duo to be posted in the near future. Danger! Danger! Gallery, 5013 Baltimore Ave., 8pm, $5 – $10 donation, All Ages (CSLSX Photo by Brandi Lukas) – Q.D. Tran
