Fall Equinox Festival at Clark Park Sept. 17

Crossing over to fall can often be a somber moment. But fortunately the 41 year tradition of The Clark Park Fall Equinox Festival can deliver a suitable last hurrah. And this year’s event will be on the same day as the Uhruru Flea Market. There will also be plenty of vendors, food offerings, and even pirates. Conversations with Enemies will be on hand to preview music from their upcoming full length that is set to weave tales of pirates, werewolves, Satan, and more. Be prepared with some earplugs because it might get loud when grindcore dervish machines Total Fucking Destruction bombard the stage with jams from their latest album Hater. Recently back from tour, Algernon Cadwallader are poised to headline and perform tunes from their latest Parrot Files. The Tressels will be bringing their alcohol-infused rock, and might just preview songs from their upcoming EP American Sunset. Fine tuning their live performance with a recent summer tour, Catnaps will impress with their cuddlecore melodies. Pet Milk will be taking over the stage with their endearing indie noise pop. And Science Fair plan to kick it old school punk style. Toss in performances from Rock to the Future students, Big Wizard, Fuck Face, and Mike Bell and the Movies, and it looks like we’ll have plenty of entertainment for this beautiful fall day.
