The members of LA quartet Rainbow Jackson describe themselves as "Four dudes who listen to a lot of KISS.” While that may indeed be true, the band has a lot more in common with 60’s garage rock than with the Starchild and company. Just check out the tie-dyed infused cover of their latest release, “Rippin’ Off The Rails.” Better yet, listen to the EP’s loud and infectious tracks, which, in addition to sounding great, have fantastic names like “Robinson Crusoe” and “Rock n’ Roll Part 3 1/2.” Rainbow Jackson plays Los Globos July 10th, and “Robinson Crusoe” is streaming below. – Joshua S.
