Tonight is your last chance to enjoy Center City Sips and roam over to Rittenhouse Square Park for PW’s Concerts in the Park series. This evening features local indie rock stalwarts The Strapping Fieldhands with their blended 60s garage punk and grunginess of 90s alternative. They’ll be supported by the mellow folk, guy-gal vocals of The Spinning Leaves. It’s obviously a strange combination, but it’s free and nice out so get your final drunk on at bars that you probably wouldn’t hang out at normally and make use of the rich part of town that your tax dollars are being used to maintain.
