Playing heart-warming indie pop with a folksy twist, local music darlings Buried Beds have a show tonight at Ortlieb’s. They’re workhorses in the Philly indie scene, having played in or contributed to a diverse array of area bands such as The War on Drugs, Man Man, mewithoutYou, and Dr. Dog, all while steadily crafting a trademark sound of luscious, wistfully-arranged rock perfect for the onset of autumn. Eliza Hardy and Brandon Beaver have helmed this project through years of musical evolution and life’s changes. They’re joined this evening by Savoir Adore, a similarly baroque indie-pop outfit, and Santah, power-pop devotees who are not to be missed.
