At SXSW 2013 we caught live Austin based songwriter Rob Baird during BMI’s Howdy Texas event. Wearing his Tennessee roots on his sleeves, Rob plays quality Alt Country that winks at the obvious but un-celebrated fathers of the genre (Tom Petty and Neil Young among others).
