Low Cut Connie w/St. James & The Apostles and Shark Tape at Underground Arts Aug. 3

Rockabilly soul rebels Low Cut Connie have a triumphant return from tour to play a jam-packed lineup at Underground Arts tonight. And they’ll be fully prepared to showcase why their latest album Call Me Sylvia has been earning them so much buzz. Low Cut Connie will be joined by the cousins of St. James & The Apostles who will be playing their last Philly show as a power trio before they test out the waters performing with an extended lineup that features Ang Bocca of Ang & the Damn Band and Jeff White of Arctic Splash at Johnny Brenda’s on August 17. Rounding out the lineup will be the effervescent indie rock tunes of Shark Tape. Underground Arts, 1200 Callowhill St, 5pm, $10, 21+ – Bill McThrill
