The Miami Sound has come to NYC. “Miami Vice,” that is. First Yacht Rock, and now this. Turns out EVERYTHING is psychedelic if you wear the proper lenses, which, for those of us who like to go on magical mystery tours, is once more a reminder of the infinitude of the universe. With that in mind, consider Infinity Shred’s feature-length LP “Sanctuary,” a synth-prog pastiche that proves the ephemeral’s refusal to ephemerate. And also that white pixie dust is not bound to leave the atmosphere anytime soon. – Brian Chidester
