It’s always good to welcome a new music venue, especially when West Kensington Ministry’s first show features a fine lineup. Oldermost are set to pull out all the stops for their headlining set, which will be the unofficial debut of their forthcoming full-length album I Live Here Now, as they will have copies on hand. They’ll also be joined by local indie-rock three-piece Mock Suns with North Carolina’s Virginia Family Band and Austin, Texas standouts Royal Forest rounding out the bill. It’s your opportunity to pop the cherry and show support to the latest addition to our DIY music community. West Kensington Ministry, 2140 N. Hancock St., 8pm, $7-$10, All Ages – Bill McThrill
