Tonight is the kick-off to the 7th annual Philly Punx Picnic, which will be running from July 18 – 21 in various spots throughout the city. This evening’s inaugural celebration(s) will be happening at two locations [South Philly’s Pariah (with Occult 45, Wise Guys, Weirdwolf and Kankers) and West Philly’s Golden Tea House (with Red Dons, SGNLS, Roman Holiday and Lot Lizard)]. “Why two shows? Because packing 100+ people into one house on a summer night is never a good idea. Hopefully this way we can have a more comfortable and fun evening with no need for drunk driving.” You can find the complete schedule of events for Philly Punx Picnic 2013 HERE, and if you’d like to learn more about its origins, check out our interview from a couple of years back with its founding organizers HERE. UP THE PUNX!!!
