The group relishes in the aura of heavy psych, stomping through in thick engulfing waves that takeover one’s headspace in that pleasant surrender of raunchy rock. Riffs soar in a melodic nature as a prominent primal freakout is formed by the consuming backend thrust and the vocals cut through like a demonic sermon. You’ll want to buy it hook line and sinker. Tonight, they will be joined by a pair of Oregon groups that similarly serve rock cultivated from the dark sludgy corners of the mind. YOB crafts extended doom-y sorcerer tracks, while Witch Mountain is cut from a similar cloth embracing a classic hard-rock core as blunt bass and percussion clear a path through the wilderness.
