With Nicky Palermo’s ambient guitar textures, Brandon Setta’s hushed vocals, and a lone piano (provided by Myrrias/Arc in Round‘s Mikele Edwards), Nothing captures the weighted melancholy exuded from Nirvana’s "Something in the Way," off 1991 classic Nevermind. The cover was recorded for Robotic Empire’s second Nirvana tribute album Whatever Nevermind, which will be released on Record Store Day. Nothing has upcoming plans to tour with Merchandise, and they’ll be finding their way to Philly on Sunday, June 7 at Johnny Brenda’s.
