It’s always a good sign when a band maintains a good pace as far as releases are concerned. Brooklyn’s garage rockers The Britanys (a band whose singer might win the award for the ‘most nasal sounding vocals in the universe’) released their sophomore EP back in October 2014 and in June 2015 already had a new track for their fans, entitled ‘It’s What it Is’ (streaming below). The Ramones guitars, the attitude os Sex Pistols and Doo-Wop influences (a genre that lately we seem to find everywhere) blend effortlessly in the new single, which you’ll surely be able to experience in a live setting tonight (July 17th) during the band’s live show at Baby’s All Right with other local likemanded bands Tall Juan and Las Rosas, opening for Mexico’s garage rock hearos Rey Pila.
