Tonight’s sold-out bill at Kung Fu Necktie promises us an out-of-body experience. Leading things off will be the bewitching trio of Heavy Temple. Born "from the far points of the universe," the homegrown outfit combines ominous string tones with mystical, Sherpa-guiding vocals and stormy drums to make believers out of us all. San Francisco stoner metal three-piece Acid King will be on tour for the first time in nine years, so obviously this is a momentous occasion. They plan to release a new album, Middle of Nowhere, Center of Everywhere, in April. Also along for the sojourn is NYC’s Kings Destroy. Kung Fu Necktie, 1250 N. Front St., 8pm, $15 (Sold Out) – Alexis V.
