After a packed tour schedule over the last couple months, Radiator Hospital is ready for some home cooking tonight at PhilaMOCA. Their latest release, a 7” split with recent tour mates Martha, captures the band’s penchant for creating music that wields endearing, exposed narratives that transplant listeners into a universally personal space with tightly coiled energy that springs you into action. It finds a way to hit home, while getting listeners to go somewhere. With unfiltered lyrical angst meshing with a gritty instrumental determination, Littler combines contemplations with a steady decisiveness. And armed with a new record Backlash, Baby, which was just released via Lame-O Records, DC pop-punk trio The Max Levine Ensemble completes the billing.
