We always have a special place in our heart for the bands that were rewarded with the NYC Record of the Month, and Miniature Tigers (a band currently split between NYC, LA and Arizona) is one of them. The quirky synth pop quartet just unveiled this new single entitled ‘Dreaming,’ from their upcoming full length ‘I Dreamt I Was A Cowboy,’ due out October 28th. We are glad to report that the quirkiness hasn’t abandoned them, but was actually taken to the next level, with a track that incorporates elements of 8 bit music, ondulating analog synths, and fluid melodies that contrast with the angular nature of the arrangement. If this is a dream, it’s of the bizarre variety. The band will be in NYC at Sunnyvale on December 22nd.
