Recorded in their basement during 2016, three sets of singles and an EP succinctly wrapped in a cohesive package, that’s The Vernes‘ self-titled debut album. The quintet locates a whimsical, drifting, lo-fi air that can scorch despite their penchant for breezy conditions.
