Kevin Barnes’s latest release is sonically influenced by 80s-style "extended dance remixes," while taking lyrical refuge from the varied works of Angela Davis, Noam Chomsky, Chris Kraus, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Mark E. Smith, and Malcolm X. Barnes will also be joined on the billing by fellow Athens tourmates/synthpop trio Yip Deceiver.
