Avant-garde sound sculptor Moor Mother, a.k.a. Camae Ayewa, premiered her new music video for "By The Light" earlier today over at Impose Magazine. The Patrick JF Smith-directed creation does an excellent job of playing off the eariness of the track and capturing her tale of urban horror in a a fitting setting before Ayewa spits fury and demonstrates the ability to control her own destiny, no matter the circumstances, through her convictions, words and art. "By The Light" can be found on her new full-lenth album, Fetish Bones, which is available via Don Giovanni Records. Moor Mother will be celebrating her record release in Philly on Saturday, September 24 at Yung Kandy Collective, sharing the stage with NAH.
