It’s no secret that we’re fans of the intoxicatingly mesmerizing sounds of Power Animal, a.k.a. Keith Hampson. After all, he is one of the rare artists that that we’ve asked to perform at our annual anniversary bash multiple times. Though his musical output in the last few years hasn’t kept up with our demands for more tunes, it’s always a treat to hear what Hampson has been up to lately, locked away in his makeshift sound lab. And this evening, Power Animal will be opening for The Deli NYC most recent Artist of the Year, Porches (you can find them on the cover of our latest print issue, which is also available online HERE), and blogosphere darlings Frankie Cosmos at PhilaMOCA. It’s been sold out for a while now so kudos to our readers who know what’s up and have grabbed their tix already. We’re looking forward to sharing a rad evening of music with you!
