Little Daylight signs to Capitol, plays Summer Stage, announces debut album

It’s official, electronic music (together with 90s rock) is taking over the NYC scene. In the last few weeks we blogged about an ever increasing number of local electro bands coming out of nowhere, getting tens of thousands of plays online and instant "buzz" status. Brooklyn’s electro pop trio Little Daylight, though, is not just an internet sensation: the band has a solid live show and released a super catchy debut EP in 2013, which includes gone-viral single ‘Overdose.’ That tune is a little too poppy for us dirty indie ex-kids, so we’ll stream instead the more dreamy track ‘Glitter and Gold.’ The band just signed with Capitol Records and is scheduled to release their debut album in the summer. You can see them live at Central Park’s Summer Stage on May 20th.
