Free Energy just premiered a new track this morning called "Get Ready" that is available for free download via Stereogum. The song was written for comedian/writer DC Pierson’s sophomore novel, Crap Kingdom, which is about "a young man who discovers that he’s the Chosen One in a not-that-great magical realm." "Get Ready" is part of a compilation that will also be available for free download and will include contributions from Ted Leo, Jean Grae, the Rosebuds and others.
