The people behind the Philadelphia Independent Craft Market are ready to pull out all the stops during its 4th Annual Pabst Blue Ribbon Crafting Challenge. And while crafters from all across the region will be judged for their handmade and vintage PBR goods, you’ll be able to enjoy plenty of PBR sponsored refreshments. But for the first time ever the event will pay host to bars & restaurants like El Camino Real, the Trestle Inn, and PYT as they compete in a chili cook off. The craft event wouldn’t be complete without a full day of music, and this one delivers with a fun lineup of locals. Before they pack up for their SXSW tour, TJ Kong and the Atomic Bomb will deliver their brand of booze-filled blues rock. Levee Drivers will be performing the first of their double header before they head to Doylestown for a show at Maxwell’s on Main. While they won’t be playing with their full band, it will still be the last chance to enjoy the country twang of Arrah and The Ferns until they return from tour in late May. Add in the eclectic jazzed-up songwriting of the Circadian Rhythms and the funk rock hybrid of Joe Duffey’s Underwater Window Garden, and you’ll have plenty of entertainment while checking out all the knick-knacks and tasting some stick-to-your-ribs chili with a chaser of cold PBR.
