On his first single of 2025, “Save Me”, Stock Marley teams up with local producer Theisy to tell his story of struggle and faith. Over the last year Marley has dealt with a lot and has clearly come through it a stronger than ever.
Here is how he explains his motivation for “Save Me”. Marley via Instagram; “There have been a few moments since I moved to Chicago where I thought it was all over. I thought there was no way out and I was finished. I have been tested in ways I couldn’t imagine since I set out on this journey. One thing I can say standing at this point in the road is that NONE of this happened through my own power. If it were solely up to me I would have been cooked a while ago. God has kept His hands around me and brought me through trial after trial. One thing I learned while being in the hospital was what being truly helpless felt like and one of the biggest lessons I learned during that whole process and getting out was I had a false sense of control. Just because I was waking up and choosing what I would wear or eat, or where I would go that day, I started to believe that I was “in control”. That process showed me that I’m just as helpless now as I was laying in that hospital bed cut in half not being able to walk and that the ONLY thing I could lean on with confidence is the Almighty God.”
